Quality: Genuine Factory Parts (OEM) have been tested and approved
by the OEM to meet the quality factory requirements for their
brand. Not so for NAPA Auto Parts.
Performance: Genuine Factory Parts (OEM) have been tested and
approved by the OEM to meet the performance requirements for their
brand. Not so for NAPA Auto Parts.
Safety: Genuine Factory Parts (OEM) have been tested and approved
by the OEM to meet the high safety standards for their brand. Not
so for NAPA Auto Parts.
Genuine Factory Parts (OEM) that are supplied by the auto
builder are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase. NAPA
Auto Parts carries no warranty from the auto builder.
Sometimes Genuine Factory Parts are referred as OEM Parts.
This simply means Original Equipment Manufacturer.
Warranty Coverage: Manufacturers will repair or replace, at
its option, any OEM part that is defective in material or factory
workmanship under normal use. Except for parts included in other
warranties, parts will be repaired or replaced without charge for
the parts,
but labor charges will be your responsibility.
This warranty does not cover:
Parts installed in vehicles for racing or competition.
Parts for which proof of purchase date are
not presented
Parts considered normal maintenance items,
unless they are defective in material or factory workmanship.
Parts replaced under the New Car Limited Warranty.
Normal wear or deterioration of any part.
